Narni underground is a set of hypogea discovered only recently; more precisely in 1979, when six young speleologists discovered a 12th century church accessible from the Conventual Complex of San Domenico.<\/p>\n

This little treasure houses some of the oldest frescoes in the city. But the surprises do not end there: the underground route also leads to the discovery of a Roman cistern and a room where the Holy Inquisition used to… interrogate the accused.<\/p>\n
